Brittany released her long-awaited debut solo album, Velella Velella, on March 8, 2024, via Metropolis Records. Already known for her catchy melodies and powerhouse vocals as the frontwoman of I:Scintilla, she explores an uncharted sonic terrain as a solo artist—delivering genre-bending, edgy tracks with punishing beats and abrasive synthesizers. This new chapter of Brittany’s career delves deeper into new territory through her collaboration with producer Matt McJunkins (A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Eagles of Death Metal, Poppy). Channeling themes of transformation, sociopolitical unrest, and the exploration of humanity’s darker facets, her vulnerable and unapologetic lyrics explore self-discovery, empathy, apathy, disillusionment, and growth.
